Title Examination is often thought of as a mechanical process of researching the land records for evidence proving the title to real property, and
the liens and encumbrances that affect that property. The true title
examiner is a craftsman and artist of the first order. Part detective, part
psychic, sometimes a mathematician, often a map-maker, frequently a genealogist, the title examiner
is required to be a Renaissance person, using skills on the cutting edge of
technology to solve mysteries as old as time itself.
This website illustrates and celebrates the depth and breadth of knowledge
expected of, and delivered by, the Title Examiner.
